2 weddings and 3 babies

there's quite a few things that have happened over the last few days most of them good. i'll start rom the begining.
Friday: i went to see Shaun of the Dead with Cai at 2:00. it was everything i'd been waiting a year to see. it was kinda weird seeing Dylan Moran so clean, but he was still lovely, that man just makes you want to pinch his cheeks and go " Your so cute! yes you are, yes you are"...or maybe thats just me.
Friday night: went to dads that night. He said he had to drop something off at Fils so we went up there and had dinner at this restaurant that one of dads friends owns. I had Yaki Soba and it was quite good. We watched a movies and to my surprise at 12:00 dad actually got up to leave. i just assumed that we would be staying at Fils even though i've told him i dont want to. But dad didnt even suggest it. As we were leaving though he said to Fil " It starts at one" so i'm thinking great what are they doing that he probably wont tell me about until half an hour before so i cant object. Anyway fell asleep in the car on the way back to Jennys and went to bed as soon as be got home.
Saturday: got up at 9:00. jenny told me that dad had gotten up at 8:00 but satin the lounge room plying on his phone. he finally got up at 12 and we went to get some breakfast/lunch. went to Jourdain's as we do every Saturday. then at 1 dad says that they're going to a engagement party. i thought it was for one of Fils friends , but then he said that it was Nev and Cara-leigh's and that all the footy club people would be there. That i was okay with and i agreed to go. when we got there i found out not only were they engaged, Cara-Leigh is also pregnant with twins and also Willow(john Wilson) and fis girlfriend are getting married. it was weird cos they are the last two people i would have imagined getting married and having kids. makes you wonder if they're getting married because of the babies. Anyway the important thing about this party was my conversations with Fil. It started harmlessly enough, she asked how jenny and Dan were. And then she asked how all the cats(Socket, Millie and Kitty) were and i told her that they had to put Socket down becuase he was old(17yrs) and he had started bleeding out of the mouth, from his stomach. then she asked about "the bird" this is where it gets interesting because now i could tell her the story of Dogs death. What happened was after grandma died dad stopped staying there but he left his cat, Cleo and grandmas cat Kitty by themselves. the worst part was he started to forget to feed them. It got to the point where he'd only feed them when i came over on the weekends and we stayed at grandmas. I couldnt stand it so i convinced mum to let cleo come and live with us, as she would surely die eventually. so now Kitty was left alone in the house was only fed maybe once a fortnight, one day she went feral and knocked over Dogs birdcage and tried to eat him because she was just so hungry. It was a real shame because he was a really cool bird and he was probably around 13 years old.
So anyway when i told Fil this she couldnt believe that dad could do that to his own cat, and kitty it was almost good to see the look of disgust on her face. Next we somehow got onto the subject of Grandmas house and why it hadnt been sold yet. So i told her the whole story of dad not doing the probate and how he lied about it and how jenny found him out and how he promised to get it done but that was 9 months ago and he hadnt done anything, and how Jenny could bearly afford food and clothes for her and Dan even though she was working 2 jobs, and how she really needs that 35grand from her share of the probate. And there was the disgusted look again. she told me that she thought he'd done it, and if she had known he hadnt she would have said something to him. i just hope that now that she knows what hes really like she will be able to help jenny by getting him to get off his arse.
Saturday Night: on our way to fils to drop her off after the party, we get a call from Amanda saying her friends want her to come to the show. it was Quarter to six, so i didnt really see the point, but what amanda wants amanda gets. we got to the show at about 6:30. Dad and i went on 2 rides and we got some showbags before the fireworks started, they were pretty cool. i love fire works. On the way home we got some pizza. while dad was in the shop waiting for it Fil turned the radio over to listen to an election update. i thought for a moment and asked fil if dad voted today. she said she didnt think so. and i said i thought so. And the thing is he'll get away with it without paying a fine, whats the bet. just like he never gets fined for not doing his tax return every year. so we went home and while we where eating dinner he told me that Deb had her Baby last week. it's a girl who they called Abigail. it was kinda weird how Kira died only weeks before the baby was born. Almost as if kira was making room for the baby to come in. It kinda made me said because if dad had been able to stay with deb then things would have turned out so diferently. Debs influence made dad a decent person, but she was young and wanted to have kids of her own, dad didnt want anymore kids, which was a good thing i guess because i really dont think he even wanted us.
Sunday: went to see Shark Tale at the movies then came home watched the 4400 with mum. it was pretty good, but then i like that sci-fi kinda thing.
Monday: bummed around the house in true holidays style, that night mum michael if he was alright and he said no, then she asked have you been speaking with John, and he said yes, than mum asked if john was okay and he said no. Then mum asked why, and he said because we're not going out anymore. it sad because i really like John we had heads in common, but they didnt have much in common and michaels is the most moody, surly, sullen, angry little man i've ever met so i could see it comming.
watched the 2nd part of the 4400 the ending was disapointing to say the least, but over all it was entertaining
