Ice skating wasn't open yesterday so we went movie and waffling instead. Aaron and i met a but earlier though and had some lunch. Managed to bump into Cairo twice before we were supposed to meet, once at the train station on my way to meet Aaron and once while we were eating lunch. Rather amusing, we just cant stay away from each other :P
Anyway, before lunch we just walked around and talked, it was nice. We bumped into Robert Coleman and an awkward moment ensued. He kept looking at our hands and then back up as if he were trying to decide whether to say something or just play it cool all the while looking quite confused. I dont blame him though, I'm the last person I'd expect him to be with.
We saw Superman, it was about as good as I expected it to be, which wasnt very good, but there's not that much else out at the moment. Then we got waffles and they were good so it was all alright. And then my mum came and picked me up and we said goodbye and i dont know when i'll see him again
I had to got into Curtin today to enroll in my unit. I cant start Mandarin until next semmester and the Japanese unit clashes with 2 of the other ones so the guy i had to talk to said i'll have to do a second year unit instead, but its all good cos it looks pretty interesting. I was totally spun out though because my joints are hurting really badly today and so I've been walking around doing my little Arthritic Shuffle and when i went into the guys room he asked if i was okay. i said "yeah i'm fine i just have arthritis." then he said, "what kind?" and i said, "Its called Ankylosing Spondylitis" and he said, "how interesting, thats what i have."
i was like no way! thats the second person I've met with AS by total chance. So we had a good old chat about the trial and tribulations of our condition. He was very nice
