more fun things to do
Yes, I am so excited that I can't sleep. Of course, I am also too tired to be productive. Why so excited you ask?? My niece should have arrived late tonight-- tomorrow morning I get to actually hold my 6 month old great niece for the first time. Of course
that is assuming that my parents or brother let go of her long enough. I also get to see Katrina's older 2 children. Today was a rush shopping trip for Mom to get toys and a cute little sundress for the kids. Now, I should have been doing prep for the event, but gee shopping for kids is always more fun. I haven't seen the older kids since September. They are a bright shining light at the end of a long depressing winter. Tomorrow I also get to see one of my favorite cousins and her sweet little daughter- should be a great three ring circus - an 8 year old, 6 (nearly 7) year old and a 5 year old, one of unknown age (my cousin's friend's child) and a 6 month old. No all day naps for Dad or for my brother!!
I got all the necessary kid foods today - you know, nestle's quick, ice cream cones, chips, juice boxes, sodas, gogurt (the fun yogurt in tubes), spaghettios,ice cream, and cereal in individual boxes.
I am going to take a ton of pics and spoil the newest one as rotten as the others are.
As to prep for the event-- I will get there late on Friday since clothes aren't even washed yet.
Gee, maybe I could at least make a list of what needs to be packed and done - it might scare me enough to make me do soemthing constructive before morning. Of course, it will probably just make me try to see what shortcuts I can take to have more time with the kids.
