worried....
My son called me from the bus, the driver announced there was a fire at his school. They were heading there anyway to see what was going on. He called me again and said they unloaded the kids on the track and they were to wait there until they found out what was happening. Fire trucks were on the scene. I called the school office, no answer... duh. :p I called the newspaper to see if they new anything. They didn't but were thankful I called. (keep up people! you have scanners) I was still freakin so I called my son back. He answered with a nervous giggle and said he was standing behind a teacher and had to turn his cell off. WTF? He keeps it off during school because they aren't allowed. But he is standing on a track and there is a fire in the school! Don't they think parents are gonna be worried? Would it be better if I drove up to the school and got in the way? I wonder if there was little fire damage but there is too much smoke, will they let the kids go home? rrrrrrrgh... I'm annoyed. I hate not knowing what is happening.
