Work, dogs and connect four
Work has been slow - way too slow! UGH! Finally now there may be some work available. I thought I'd have to bag groceries or something.
We "borrowed" three of Kyle's puppies yesterday. They're adorable. I gave them all a bath and introduced them to our dogs. Sierra loved them. She mothered them like crazy. We took them back after a few hours. It gave Puppet - the mother - a break.
Today I went over and bathed/groomed Puppet. I bought Kyle 80 pounds of food and taught him more about proper care. She's way under weight and had tons of fleas. She'd also been in some sort of fight and her front leg had clearly been bitten. The leg showed the first signs of infection, and so I treated it. Poor girl. I believe Kyle understands better, and she's also nursing 9 puppies and so I know that will take weight off of her too.
Two days ago Elizabeth came to me with the Connect Four game and a chart for a "championship tournament". She also brought me a hanky in case I wanted to cry! LOL. She can really talk smack!
