Bugs, bugs and bugged
Yesterday was hysterical. I found there were more "bugs" on my computer, and so it kept freezing up and more good, fun, interesting stuff. I was trying to work and do well, but kept having all sorts of problems. Ugh.
PL is staying up almost all night every night and so she's not on the in mornings to talk to! boo hoo hoo! She finally signs on, but I never could talk to her because of the "bugs". I work on them with anti-bug software on and off all day.
At one point I needed something from my van. I go out there only to discover a dead, half-eaten (by the cats obviously) mouse near my van. I freak out and kick it through the yard, which sends one of the cats after it again!
I take a break to pick some blueberries after Brian and Elizabeth go to bed. I was smart enough to prepare for the mosquitoes, but duh there are tons more different bugs out there. Yeah, like wasps.
Yep, I was stung in the stomach. After the bowl was nearly full I was stung. It hurt like crazy. Then another wasp began attacking my head! I was running around trying to get the stinging one off of my stomach and trying to keep the one attacking my head from stinging me! Beats me how any blueberries were left in the bowl!
After the pain subsides I decide to take the dogs for a walk in the field. The farmers cut the hay down, and so it's fun to take them through there. So, we're walking along and a mosquito flies in my eye! Oh yeah, did I mention the one that flew into my ear earlier! Ah yes, the joys of Georgia in the summer! LOL.
I finally get the dogs back in the yard and go in to soak the blueberries. Elizabeth is awake having growing pains in her legs. So, I give her a massage to help ease the pain. She goes back to bed and I walk into the kitchen only to see something flying around. No kidding, it's about the size of a sparrow! I was like, "Oh no! A bird is in the house again!" Nope, it wasn't. It was quite possibly the largest bug I'd ever seen.
I didn't want the thing flying around the house, so I close off the kitchen and try to open the back door. Only, the lock sticks because of the humidity and the crazy giant flying bug flies over to me. So now I'm being chased around by this giant bug, trying my best not to scream so I don't wake up Brian and Elizabeth. Finally, the door is open, only I can't get the thing out of the house! So, I grab the fly swatter and chase it around trying to swat it out of the house. Finally, after about three minutes it's out! I close the door and sigh in relief.
Okay, time out for Animal Cops. Then I decide to see if PL is on, and she is - YAY! Bruce and his 90 cousins are on as well. All boys! YIKES! Their grocery bill has to be huge this summer! So, I let them know about the bugs on the computer and sure enough I'm disconnected.
Up 'til 2 a.m. figuring out the spyware, malware, trojan and viruses. UGH! Finally, I buy an on-line product that sweeps my computer clean! So, for at least four minutes now my computer has been totally virus clean! YAY! GOOD, GOOD FOR ME!
