Houlihan's
On Saturday we decided to go to Houlihan's since we had never eaten there and I had the certificate for a free entree. Houlihan's is located right outside of Hersheypark on Chocolate Avenue.
I was feeling like alcohol was in order, so I had a Zentini
We had Spinach Dip with Cheesy Lovosh for our appetizer
You can choose a salad or soup with your entree, and even though it was July... I opted for Potato Soup
Clint had French Onion Soup
I had a lot of meat based meals this week, like steak and pork chops, so I decided to have the Idaho Trout Almondine
Clint had the Ahi Tuna Salad
I really like the way Houlihan's does dessert. They call these "mini" desserts, but really you could have just one and it would be enough. They weren't as "mini" as I anticipated they would be. Still, we both decided to have 3 of the 5 mini desserts offered. We both had the cappuccino cake and the s'mores pocket, and Clint had creme brulee, while I opted for the berry cobbler. I am now CRAVING the s'mores dessert! They give you graham crackers and you dip them in a warm, gooey mixture of chocolate and marshmallow that they toasted. OMG it was soo good!
I really liked Houlihan's. The waitress was kind of spastic, and the overall experience (walking five minutes from the park, eating the complete meal, and walking back) took two and a half hours (WHAT?!), but other than that, I really liked my first experience with Houlihan's. I already told my friend Vicki that I want to go back for more mini desserts! lol
