too cool to proofread

when it takes you an hour and a half to fold all of your tshirts down enough to fit them into your drawer, well, you have too many tshirts. i love going to the laundromat, there's something strangely relaxing about watching your clothes in the dryer. it's also fun in a geeky sort of way to keep an eye out for a few particular items and wait for ( Read more... )

It makes sense that it isn't the less seeing, but the distance. Because distance is more of an obstacle. Sometimes you don't see anyone, but you know that you COULD ... and when he is in CA you are going to feel like you CAN'T, and it's gonna suck more.

It's good that you're writing again. Writing is good and it's relieving. I wish I would write again, but I won't.

I also can get totally tranced out watching laundry go round and round.

yes, that is exactly what it is. i mean, i don't see him all that much now, but i know he's just two hours north, so he's still tangible. california may as well be light years away, 'cause it already feels that way. meh.

i said i wouldn't start again, but i did. i have faith in you.

Too many subjects. throw4lifeder May 20 2005, 16:09:21 UTC
Since there were so many subjects and topics in this post I will focus on the white supremacist one.
I went out with a boy in HS that was a White Power dude. He was just rather nice to look at and then after seeing him for a month, I realized he was more into the fact I looked like a Nazi-power German lover than anything else and that's the main reason he was attracted to me. (I am none of that. I am only German in ancestry.)

And last summer, I guess before you started working at HT, 2 men, one woman and a wee baby were all wearing white power t-shirts. It was a disgrace, but they were customers so it's not like I could say "Get the fuck out; we don't discriminate."

Anyhow, there is my comment of the month for the Gina. Enjoy.

oh god, that's just nuts. how do people our age still think that way? you think people have come so far, and then you meet folks like that and realize we're nowhere near where we ought to be. how disgusting. how disappointing.

speaking of disgusting, if i saw a baby in a white power tshirt, i don't think i'd be able to keep my mouth shut, regardless of where i was.

i'm all angry now. bleh!

well, i just counted 45 band/word shirts in my drawer. that isn't counting what's in my hamper or the stragglers in my closet. it also doesn't count polo shirts, cutaway shirts, button-down shirts, or any of those little girlie shirts.

damn.

my closet isn't in my room, so i mostly use it for storage and things i don't wear all that often, or at all. don't ask me why, 'cause i honestly don't have an answer.
