APPEARANCE: Long, blonde hair, of which a large lock obscures the right side of her face some, while the rest hangs down her back in a loose ponytail tied near the tip; her face is somewhat cherubic in shape, with large eyes and a small mouth. Though she wears other things in Gran Frontier, she's most identifiable by her adventuring kit -- a blue leather tunic with a belt just slightly too large and lopsided, a light blue cape that splits up the back, sensible traveling trousers, and a pair of boots.
DESCRIPTION: Laid back and casual, with a capacity for listening that serves her well in her current profession. At the same time, she has a cheeky sense of humor, and sometimes a loose concept of morality when it comes to personal property. Very little surprises her when it comes to discussions of adventure and exploration.
HISTORY: Kaye, unlike many, is a born and bred resident of Gran Frontier. The owner and bartender of the popular pub The First Stop, Kaye has already managed to accrue a lifetime of stories of high adventure and dungeon delving. Trained at a young age by a legendary thief, Kaye used her thieving abilities to explore rather than to simply steal, and over time gained a reputation. It's said, in fact, that she was part of a party that saved the world; oddly, she rarely goes into detail on that story, but she's more than willing to elaborate on every other one when asked. Those who test her will find that, even at the ripe old age of 32, she hasn't lost any of her edge.
Kaye has numerous friends and contacts around the city. She is also the one who taught Nick Reeve his limited knowledge of lockpicking and trap disabling, and is one of his closest friends.
