Big game tonight....first hard team my men's intramural team has faced...we smoked the other two. I played like a monster, and everybody kept telling me how awesome I was all night...very nice. However, we lost to penalty kicks after two overtimes. I guess they don't do draws for regular season games? Lame.
Anyway. Our offense sucked cock. Fucking guy named Mischa doesn't pass.ever. Every damn time he has these beautiful opportunities to split the d to our right midfielder and takes it all for himself. I finally appropriated the ball from him on a run up the side, basically stealing it from him, and delivered a cross to the right midfielder, who perfectly took it in the chest after it cleared the defender, 15 feet from the goal, and then...to a basically open goal...shot it over the neat.
Followed by more brilliant shots. And we lose by 1 PK. What fun.
