not to be a flock of seagulls, but I totally ran! I did it!!! week one, workout one. completed. by me. I know six minutes of running over 20 minutes is probably nothing to a lot of you, but to me it's a big deal and I'm really proud! I might stick to the week one workout for 2 weeks depending on if it gets easier for me or not, but either way I'm stoked! I did it on the shitty, older treadmills in the womens locker room because I didn't want any men to see me run out in the wellness center where the nicer, cushionier treadmills are. next time I'm going to be like 'f it' because I don't want my feet or knees to burn. since I joined back in march I've kinda been waiting for someone to say something rude to me so I can embarrass them, and for better or worse it hasn't happened yet. I guess that's for the better!

so yeah, after the workout I went in the sauna and the whirlpool and my arms still smells like chlorine! I really hope when nnamdi and I have a home that we have a pool because I am one of those people who can stay in the pool forever til my eyes are bloodshot and everyone else has gotten out because they're cold. we had an above ground when I was a little girl and my parents were still together but that was the last time. skylar's great aunt had one but whenever we went over he'd swim for, like, five minutes and be done. last time nnamdi was here, our hotel had a pool but it didn't open til memorial day so we bought him a new suit for nothing! and promptly returned it haha.

anyway, don't want to go back to work tomorrow. planning a trip to baltimore soon. going to the library tomorrow if I have gaps in my day so if you read anything really wonderful lately, tell me about it! also my dumb yoga dvd finally arrived so I'm starting that tomorrow too!
