I just found a fabulous community on LJ: akira_kurosawa, and I warmly recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese films or Medieval Japan, as well as (obviously) to any Kurosawa fans.

I've grown fond of Kurosawa after watching Shichinin no Samurai (The Seven Samurai), Ran and Akahige (Redbeard). I'm hoping to have a chance to watch soon more of his movies ( ( Read more... )
