Skull anglaise finished!
I wanted to wear the skull anglaise on my birthday (on january 30th), so I worked hard to finish it. This is the finished front and a detail of the sleeve ruffles.
As I didn't have enough time I didn't make a selffabric trim for the neckline, but used a large rose trim instead.
To wear this gown en polonaise I've sewn satin ribbons to the inside. Instead of using buttons on the outside I've sewn two little loops (no idea how to describe this english, so I hope you understand me) to the inside of the gown (see the two red arrows).
I will post pictures of this gown being worn soon.
