A year and a half after submitting my SCA name and device, I finally tried checking to see if it was registered.  The only letter I'd had about it was that it was being forwarded although there was some uncertainty about my sources.  That was really frustrating to hear considering I'd provided photocopies of pictures of medieval scrolls!

I went down to Birka Friday night. I think this was the first time in YEARS that I hadn't day tripped this event. I even daytripped from Philadelphia once. But it was sooooo much more relaxing to just be there already!
