OETA aired an old Queen concert earlier. Wow. Freddie Mercury... amazing talent, but too camp for words. I do love Queen's music; however, I think I'll have to stick to audio-only recordings in future, or risk a fit of gigglesnorts at the recollection of Mr Mercury prancing around in white short-shorts, a baseball cap, and an athletic towel.
Also remembered, while watching a rerun of "The Shakespeare Code," why I didn't actually like Season 3 of New Who that much. There were some truly great episodes, and I think Martha is an awesome character (and totally deserved better), but there's this weird tension between her and the Doctor that's just painful to watch. :P
(The music from the block party is audible even this far away. It sounds sort of... yodelly? Huh.)
