oh good grief.

So I went to Braums around 9:30 last night. They were out of iced tea, so I got Diet Dr. Pepper. And then got a refill. Which conspired with yesterday's evening nap to keep me WIDE AWAKE all night. Woo.

Got bored of internetting around 2 a.m. and proceeded to scrub down the bathroom floor and fixtures, spraypaint several decor pieces I'd been meaning to refinish for a while, throw out expired food from the fridge, empty all the trash cans, frame a poster, put the bathroom baseboard back in place, take the window A/C unit in for the winter, clean EVERYTHING out of my room that doesn't belong in a bedroom and sweep under the bed* for the first time in years (ugh), and rearrange the furniture**. Still not sleepy (which is good, because I have to leave for work in half an hour!). Why can't I ever be this productive during normal-people hours?

* Found some quite usual things - vagabond socks, clothing hang tags, pencils; some almost understandable - old accounting homework, A/V cables; and some... well, I didn't even know I owned a chip clip.

** It's amazing, just putting the head of the bed against the short wall instead of the long wall made it look like a whole different room! Now there's space to put down my throw rugs and experiment with dresser/storage cubby placement... probably even enough to add a reading chair or vanity table if I find a nice one.
