If you've not yet seen via my Facebook or AIM, I am now employed!
Well, technically employed for the future, but still!
I had seven interviews (Alma College, Olivet College, Schoolcraft College, Hope College, Delta College, Northwood University, and Madonna University) and on Tuesday afternoon received a call that five of the seven (Everyone but Madonna and Alma) had me down as their first choice!
AWESOME!
But wait, there's more!
I had about 24 hours to decide which to take. So, considering important things like cafeterias, kitchen or lack thereof, free living space vs. paying for it out of my stipend, and religious doctrines associated with each place, I decided on Olivet.
So, from July 28 until July 29 (probably) of next year, I will be employed! And housed! And fed (usually)! And it all starts out with a pre-orientation/training shindig in the Boston area (Endicott University?) from July 20-25 for which I understand everything-- including airfare-- is paid for.
So! Job!
I now will fill my summer with cleaning and organizing my room (read: throwing crap out that doesn't have obvious sentimental or other value) and looking for free/cheap furniture and things.
