contributions to the semi-regular e-zine run by my dear friend rickey k. sound like easy assignments, but wind up being time-consuming and lots of good trouble. i'm not usually happy with the results, but the one for issue 20 is one of which i am especially proud. in part, it's because the piece was really short. i kind of rushed through it, but

ha, what a moron. there are 60 minutes to a degree, you fool. a minute has 60 seconds. too bad i realized this about 10 minutes (not seconds) after i shut the computer off.
