Self-Indulgent Prattling and Aliens

Apollo Jeez and I would like to apologise for yet another post where I’m playing around with the sliders and creating aliens.  I’m posting though because I enjoyed myself and I wanted to remember where three hours today went.  I also wanted to include some links to cc before I forget where I found it.

Anyway, only follow the cut if you like looking at aliens.

EDITED: Now with facial hair experiment.

Loving PixelCurious’s skin colour sliders and went searching for some makeup to give an extra dimension to my newly created minty green alien, Apollo Jeez.

Skintone is PixPix Minty V2. The slightly reptilian eye makeup is by Lady Frontbum.  The contacts are Tameless Eyes (version 2, I think.)  His lack of eyebrows is courtesy of Scary Berry  .

I originally tried a different Lady Frontbum make up and Scary Berry Infected contacts on Apollo’s sister, Squee, who’s sporting PixPix Hydrangea skintone.

But decided I preferred the look of dark alien eyes and, as siblings, felt she should also have the reptilian shadow.

Then gave Rue Dimentry a makeover too, Loving the golden tones of PixPix Mango-Melon V2.

In my opinion, Rue looks best from the side. Her mouth reminds me of Simian, one of my favourite of Madame Ugly’s many wonderful TS2 sims.

Then I got to wondering just what kind of children Rue and Apollo would have…

Grumpy looking or what?

I though that she showed promise though.  Maybe as a start for that elusive grey alien type I keep trying to make.

Ended up with this but decided that perhaps the Scary Berry makeup was not such a good idea.

Ro Hypnol has the EA blue skintone and toned down Scary Berry makeup.

From the side, in my opinion, she’s not as cute as Rue.

I play on a laptop with an integrated graphics chip, so in-game graphics are not the greatest. She’s still doesn’t look like my imaginary grey alien.  Decided she needed tweaking.

However, during the tweaking process, she transformed in the cockroach-like Fu Canal. He’s sporting PixPix Mango-Melon V2, Scary Berry contacts and Lady Frontbum eye makeup plus that silly moustache that came with World Adventures.  It’s the moustache that makes me think ‘cockroach’.

He appears slightly vulnerable in-game.  Less creepy than in CAH.

Also my game highlights strange see-through bits in the EA hair that came with Showtime along with blurring Squee’s makeup pretty badly.

However, my game seems to like Apollo.  I do too, I think :)

Edited: After reading the comments from PixelCurious and Madame Ugly I got curious about the facial hair and the likeness to Madame Ugly's Mother XYZ.  So I tweaked Ro (again):

The beard (although not the right one for Mother) is classified as 'Blush' and was created by Esmeralda F.

My laptop doesn't like me to tab out of the game and, as I don't have a second computer, I was trying to create Mother from memory.  Here's what Mother should look like:

Mother XYZ was created in TS2 by madame_ugly and I've used her pictures without permission (hope you'll forgive me).

I've Twallan's Master Controller mod installed which allows you to extend the range of the sliders in CAS and enable beards for everyone. So, decided to tweak:

I don't have any similar beards to Mother's, so had to use the 'extended' version that came with World Adventures. In my opinion not quite as attractive as the original but I'm pleased with my attempt from memory.  The TS3 head/skull shape seems rounder than the TS2 version and, oh drats, I didn't make her ears big enough.

Finally, I was curious about what pixelcurious's Susie-Q would look like with a Fu Manchu moustache:

Then added the blusher Fu Manchu goatee for good measure.  Ha!
