in which plans get planned:
Before I move to NYC (half a year left, more or less) I should:
- find a place
- find a temp job
- have x amount of $ (I know exactly what x is; I made compute the number maths)
- get all the tattoos I've been planning (which may or may not include Arturo Luz, Gertrude Stein, more David Shrigley)
- learn how to drive (optional, contrary to parents' beliefs)
- fix my stupid portfolio: one for writing, another for advertising, the third for anything and everything else
- winterproof the fraction of my wardrobe that I am taking along with me (how does one stay warm)
- whittle my books down to a precious twenty? thirty? fifty? help
