Summary: The rise and fall of the relationship between Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen

A/N: I know you guys have been waiting on this chapter forever! I have been super busy lately and I had time this morning so I am knocking this whole chapter out now before I have to go. Hope you guys enjoy! Oh and this chapter continues right where we left off.
“We shouldn’t be doing this here someone could catch us.” Taylor moaned as Chace trailed kisses down her jaw and neck. Chace just nodded in response, Taylor pulled away “I’m serious Chace we can’t do this here”.
“I can’t help it you are so irresistible.” Chace gave Taylor a sweet but quick kiss “How about we sneak out of here and I walk you home?”
“Okay but you have to promise to keep your hands to yourself.”
“I can’t make any promises but I can try.” Chace smirked
“I guess that will do.” Taylor smiled

“Tell me something you’ve never told me before.” Chace and Taylor were walking through the empty and surprisingly quiet streets of New York
Taylor was quiet for a while before she finally spoke “I can’t stop thinking about you, I want to be with you all the time, and that scares me because what if we get caught? What are we going to do?” Taylor had been worrying about this for days but didn’t want to say anything because things were so great between them.
“I worry about the same thing. I hate having to pretend that I’m not falling in love with you and I know we’ve only been together for a month but I’ve never felt this way about anyone and it scares me too because I want to just be with you without the worry of people finding out about us.” Taylor had been feeling the same way but she wasn’t sure if he felt the same way and to hear him say it aloud made her so unbelievably happy. Taylor leaned to give Chace a passionate kiss, she pulled away staring deeply into his clear blue eyes.
“I’m falling in love with you too.”
Chace breathed a sigh of relief, but there was still a feeling of nervousness. He couldn’t think about that though he wanted to happy and with her for as long as possible.

Taylor was in the bathroom brushing her teeth when she heard her phone ring.
“Hey Connor” Taylor answered brightly
“Seeing as you are not freaking out I’m guessing you haven’t seen it yet.”
“Seen what?” Taylor asked confused
“The articles that are all over the internet”
Taylor laughed “What more articles about how I’m too skinny. Sorry to break it to you Connor but that stuff isn’t exactly headline news.”
“I wish that what they were about but they’re about you and Chace.”
Taylor couldn’t breathe; this could not be happening “What do they say?”
“Well apparently someone saw you a Chace and I quote ‘in a corner sneaking kisses’”
Taylor had no words for how she was feeling. This couldn’t be happening she couldn’t even think about what people were saying about the kiss.
“Taylor are you there?”
“I’m on the computer looking up the articles now. How did you find these?”
“Well sometimes when I’m bored I Google myself and your name came up and so I was looking at the stuff that showed up and I saw those.”
“Oh my god”
“What it’s not that weird…”
“No it’s not that, it’s just I can’t believe that this is happening. I have to call Chace.”
“Okay Tay call me later”
“I will” Taylor hung up and dialed Chace’s number
“Taylor”
“Chace oh my god have you seen the articles all over the internet?” Taylor was panicking
“Yeah Connor text Ed about them and Ed showed them to me”
“Chace what are we going to do?”
“Taylor I don’t know.” Chace sighed
“Chace I’m scared what are people going to say? There is an 8 Year difference between us and I know we don’t care but other people aren’t going to be so understanding.” Taylor was on the verge of tears she just couldn’t believe this was happening to them. “People are going to blame you for this because you’re over eighteen. They are going to think you’re taking advantage of me and I can’t let people think that of you. I just can’t let people think you are some pervert taking advantage of me!”
“Babe calm down we’ll deal with it when we come to it.” Chace tried to comfort Taylor
“Chace it has already come to it, it is staring us right in the face, and I have to be on set today what am I going to do?”
“Just act normal maybe no one saw them yet.”
“Yeah maybe… I guess I should go get ready so I’m not late.”
“Yeah my agent has been calling all morning and I’m assuming it’s about the internet articles.”
“Okay I will talk to you later?” Taylor had meant to say as statement but it came out as a question, she had no idea where they stood in their relationship.
“Yeah I will call you later”?

“Chace what am I going to do with you?”
“Lori” Chace sighed
“So please tell me the rumors are exactly that they are rumors because that would make my job a lot easier.” Chace remained silent “Oh boy… so what was this? Was it a fling or is this an actual relationship?”
“We’ve been together for a month now and it’s not just a fling.”
“Okay this is what you are going to do. You two are going to cool it, you are not to be seen together and you are especially not to be seen talking because that will just fuel the rumors.”
“Lori I don’t know if I can do that”
“Well you’re going to have to. Chace you are 23 years old and Taylor is 15! This is going to look really bad if you two continue to see each other. Please just promise me that you two will at least cool the relationship down. I’m not saying you have break up we will deal with that when we come to it but for right now you two cannot be seen together. I personally don’t think it’s that big of a deal but other people will and it will affect your career in a very bad way. Promise me Chace.”
Chace sighed and ran his hands through is hair “I promise”
“Thank you”
Chace never imagined that saying those two words could bring him so much pain and heartache.
