And now for something completely shallow.
I saw bits of the Oscars, and I'm very, very happy at how well LotR
did. I wish some of the actors had been nominated (pretty much
all of the actors, actually), but I suppose they couldn't nominate
everyone in the movie.
I squeeed a lot to see the marvelous Hobbits, but Elijah, Sean, what are you thinking? Shave. Now.
Liv did something weird with her hair, and has kind of freaky earrings, but she's not a Hobbit, so I don't really care, except that I can mock her.
Also, what did she have her dress made of? Carpet samples? She doesn't even fill it out, for goodness sake, and it's absolutely hideous. Still, it's a cut above her dress, and maybe even her...outfit thing, whatever that is. She seems to be going with a Survivor theme, and is apparently planning to blind her opponents with the glare of sunlight glinting off of her enormous smile. And apparently she made a tablecloth toga with a blue satin sash and gold lederhosen suspenders. It's like The Sound of Music, but with a tablecloth instead of curtains.
