Yes. So, as you may have guessed, I've decided to conclude my 31 days of Halloween with The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Newly engaged couple, Brad and Janet, get a flat tire on a dark and stormy night out on a secluded highway. The only place nearby is a spooky castle (which is probably why it was used in so many Hammer films). Brad and Janet hoof it over to the castle to see if they can use the phone. Turns out it's a very special night at the castle. Dr. Frank N. Furter, the owner of the castle, is about to unveil his latest creation. And Brad and Janet get to be honored guests! A group of Transylvanians dance to the Time Warp, and we discover that Dr. Frank has made himself his very own man. A man named Rocky Horror. Then... well then things really start to get weird.
I watched the American version for this, although the DVD has the UK version also. I wonder what the difference is. I guess I'll have to watch it and find out sometime. This movie is just fun. Although it's always way more fun with a group, but what are ya gonna do?
So ends my 31 Days of Halloween. It was gruelling at times, but I did it. Not sure if I'll do it again next year because I don't know if I can come up with another 31 good movies for it. There were a few that just missed the cut the last 2 years, but I don't know if I can come up with another 31. We'll see. Anyway, stay tuned for my "12 Days of Christmas..." I think there will be some surprises on it.
