Last night I went to the grocery store and got 4 boxes from the poster-child stockboy. I didn't have to use flirt tactics that Emily said I should use. He was unpacking eggs, so it was perfect. The boxes are just the right size and have a divider down the middle. Wonderful!
I packed up 2 boxes last night... my cd's, dvd's, picture albums, and all the stuff in my junk closet. I have LOTS more to do. *sigh* Packing alone made me want to order an entire pizza for myself and buy a half gallon of ice cream to eat. But I had a pot pie and popcorn instead.
I got my check yesterday, which had 14.25 hours of overtime on it, so that was nice. I have plenty of extra money, which is good, because I need to get my oil changed and have my tires rotated. Then even after that, I was still able to put some money in my savings. Very cool.
The transition from house to apartment is going to throw off my budget for about a month, so I am working as much as I can, to make sure I can pay all my bills and still have that extra cash on hand. So far, it looks like I'll have NO problems with that.
I wonder how long til I get my All Star game package info, and then how long til I get my income tax refund. I should be able to do All Star game, savings, loan, AND New York trip. I hope it works out.
I've been listening to a lot of Christian artists lately. It really does put me in a better mood. I guess it helps, too, that I've been reading my Bible, though I missed yesterday.
