Yesterday afternoon I texted Emily seeing she would like to hangout. Well less than a minute later she called me back! We talked for almost 11mins. I finally learned that she found a job and is working for an insurance company in Raynum. Emily started working there nearly a month ago. She also brought up my photography work which she really wants to see. I also told her how early on in the class I was going to drop it since it seemed too overwhelming. I loved to how she brought up my dog Preston since we haven't really talked about him for a year. The last thing she brought up was the three questions I have been wanting to ask her. The problem was that I couldn't ask them because one of the three questions has changed over the past year. This was though the second-longest conversation we had since early 2009. This was the first time to in a longtime that we have heard from each other over a span of two weeks. I decided to maybe not this week but maybe next we can talk on the phone again when she is going home from work. Emily told me to she has spent a lot of time the last few months at her grandmother's and just helping out her mom with the house stuff. She did like babysitting though but she is happy to finally have a job now. Judging by that conversation I think the long lapse of not talking with each other has finally come to end.
Now earlier last month my family and I went over Gary & Charlene's house to celebrate Easter. They live by the Holliston Golf Course and the nice Turkey Farm. There house was huge but very nice inside. My mom loved there outdoor deck. I also learned that they got a dog last August named Remy. The sad thing is is that he has a hip problem and he is only one year old. Very nice puppy though. Jake and Eric seemed to be much brighter a few months after the death of their grandmother. Jake is doing baseball once more. It was cool to meet Charlene's mother and sister.
This last month to I got a little lonelier then usual, maybe it was because I was jealous of my best friends having more of a social life then I do. Luckily, Brendan called me at the right time so he came over and we hung out for three hours. He told me he spent his Easter driving around Amherst trying to find a supermarket that was open. His favorite store, The Big Y, was closed for the holiday so he ended up going to Whole Foods. One funny thing he told was that many people probably don't even know what organic means. He did though eventually buy these chocolate coffee beans and ate them. We ended up playing the usual games, Simpson's Road Rage and Red-Faction. I told Brendan to how I was feeling but he said that I am significant in all of my friends from home here lives. Now that comment really cheered me up! I also learned his sister Ashley wants to go off to grad school and then law school.
At the church the last month I haven't really worked much at all because the darkroom has consumed a lot of my time. I did see Matt Chick though and learned he recently had a baby boy named Michael. His daughter Bridget is growing fast and his wife Mary is doing fine to. Another thing I did there that went back toward the past was play the piano with much more melody for a few minutes when I was working alone one Friday afternoon. Guitar in the last few weeks I have learned the full G, C, and Cmaj chords. Pam and I are working now on After The Goldrush which is a great Neil Young song.
I went to my cousin Greg's last Westfield State College game of the year last weekend in Boston. It was really cool seeing Umass Amherst facing my cousins school. Greg didn't play much since he wasn't feeling good but when he got out there I thought he did great. Uncle Bobby told me they rotate him depending how much they need him in the game. Mostly he is a starter position. I went to celebrate my grandmother's 85th Birthday last night in Brookline. It was actually a very nice time since I saw my Uncle Jimmy and his kids, my cousin Melissa and her boyfriend named Brian(very nice guy to I might add), my cousin Stevie, Aunt Adeline and Uncle Stevie, Uncle Bobby. I'll just say the room was filled but it was a very fancy restaurant. I also saw Doris again with her father who is a few years older then Papa Leo. Overall it was a very busy month of April which more will be told of in my next entry. To Be Concluded.
