One or two of the areas I used to MTB around back in Victoria used to have it happen a bit. Luckily I never copped it, but almost got a similar of cassette tape strung between trees - at speed it looks just like wire, and caused the lead rider to lay his bike down to avoid it, causing bike and body-damage.

They intend it to injure the moto-riders, but tend to kill them, or severely injure them... and end up getting cyclists and horse-riders instead.

I have no sympathy for these cunts. None at all. And would happily look the other way if I found them being beaten for stringing up wire.

that's just fucked.. no matter how wrong it is for ppl to be riding dirt bikes in parks.. they specified that it was not only a kids park, but kids riding the dirt bikes..

kids who dont' have motoX parks they can get to during the week and prolly have a hell of a time convincing the olds to hitch a trailor for a drive a few hours out of town to a national park that allows them

This sort of thing has always appalled me. Even more so since becoming a parent (I can't help but think how I'd feel if this happened to my kid).
I hope they catch the filth who set this up & punish them as we've described above. Perhaps also forcibly inserting a copy of Stone in the process.
