"I-It's an honor to meet you, Date-sama!"
Right from the get-go, Date had seen Rin as somebody who was one of his, as a person who he had to protect because she was still somebody who respected and looked up to him and therefore it was his responsibility. News of her kidnap had already startled him, but what really took the cake was discovering her dead body during the raid in Michigan. Needless to say, Date feels immensely guilty for not having been able to protect her even though it was his vow to protect those under him. He feels that it is his fault for having not been able to protect her when he should, and ultimately letting her die at the hands of the Witches. Through this he resolves more to improve himself, and get himself strong so that he will never let something like this ever happen again.

"I'm glad to see your time away hasn't changed your enthusiasm."
A guy who Date talks with on and off the journals - so far he's been somewhat interesting, although there are times when the other rubs him off in just a little off the wrong way. It's something that doesn't ring bells though for the moment, so Date is content with just seeing how things go for now before he attempts anything. Still, he's a pretty interesting guy. His friend has been kidnapped, which gives Date yet more reason to hunt down all the kidnapped and rescue them from wherever they are. Through recent events of having their hands stuck together because of the witches, they became a little closer as well - and Date can see that if anything, Spitfire does have his heart in the right place.

Strange frilly guy in the future! Frills aside, he does seem to have a good head of his shoulders and is someone who Date finds quite amusing to talk with. Apparently knows a bit about his culture, of which he is also amused by but appreciates nonetheless. He does like this guy though, as strange as those frills are, and he'll be on the lookout for him. With the recent string of kidnappings around they're working together now in order to find and save those who were kidnapped, and from this event Date will most likely come to respect him a fair bit more. Somewhat recently became head of the Agency, so Date hasn't had many chances to talk to him.
Yoko Ritona

"Guess I'm not the only one who doesn't really celebrate their own birthday."
A rather nice lady who's helped out Date on several occasions, one of them being the time when he had sand stuck in his helmet. Though her friend has been kidnapped by the Witches she still remains strong, and Date approves of that. She hardly seems that all bad, and its always pretty good talking with her. Date doesn't mind chatting with her if the time allows it, and maybe getting to know her better while at it.

"Excellent. You are a very useful man."
The guy who heads the daily morning training sessions. While they don't really talk that all much, Date does respect him in a way - he's professional, he's organized and he has his priorities in the right place for the most part. He does what is needed and necessary when the situation calls for it, and Date approves of that. Still, he is notably a bit... awkward in more social situations - something Date can kind of relate to himself, since he's a bit fail in those kind of things as well. But that aside Ludwig's not at all bad, and Date does hope that he can get a chance to know him better one of these days. Somehow.
