Alright... I don't post often, but this one kind of irked me and made me laugh at the same time.... Over on EGL_Plus this one chic post a DS for a black and red Timeless Trends corset. Nothing major about that. Not the most loliable thing, but they've allowed corsets before.
The girl is trying to sell the corset, that is used and two years old, for near the same price a brand spanking new one costs. The first commenter raised this point and received the answer of 'Yes, or they can buy it from me, worn.' Kind of a bitchy reply. The second commenter asks 'what size is it' after agreeing with first commenter. OP says it's a size 38 and fit her at a 50inch waist. WTF. Anyone who knows about corset sizing knows that the number is in inches. Meaning that evidently somehow this girl with a 50inch waist got it squeezed into a 38inch corset... How?... I may not be the smallest girl, and I have a bit of squish... But I know I couldn't fit into a 22 inch corset when I'm 37 inches.. Several more commenters mention this fact.
Later, a mod posts with a 'Put all the pics behind a cut please or I'm gonna delete this by the end of the day, since this is barely passable as lolita. The girl replies with
"Like I said, I cant get it behind a cut. I asked for help. No one offered. :D
I wore a size 38 with a 50 inch waist. I cant offer a better explanation than that I wore this when I was a real fatass.
Forget it. Please delete this. I dont want your help~"
Another commenter posted the link to the LJ faq about cuts.
Granted, she did ask for help and no one gave her any till the end, but that's no excuse to be a bitch.... And saying 'I wore this when I was a real fatass' doesn't explain how you sqeezed your 50 inch waist into a 38 inch corset.
I just don't buy this whole 'I had an account but I forgot the password' bs... I mean really.. I've NEVER forgotten the passwords to my lj accounts, or any other account. Her only comm is EGL_Plus. You'd think she'd have joined EGL and some of the other comms as well. She didn't post anything in her journal as well... I dunno.. I just can't tell if it's really a troll or just a really big whiny bitch... what do you guys think?
