N00b posts screenshot of a lolita from a TV episode, a few other n00bs squee about how cute it is despite the fact that it fell out of the ita tree & not only hit every branch on the way down, but fell off a cliff under the tree & hit a large number of rocks too. One person jokingly counts off the ita elements & a few people chime in with agreement

I think she might be referring to the abundance of sweet on egl, but there's still more than enough gothlolis posting that you'd think she'd see how it was done properly. And if she's come here via goth, she must have seen gothloli before since I assume that's how she got into lolita. Mind you I suppose it depends on the quality of the gothlolis she saw...

Friend of mine reports that there's always at least one at every goth night she goes to, usually completely with cat ears or a maxi-pad headdress made with doily-style stiff lace.

Possibly. I don't make it out to goth nights often (the town I go to uni in is in the middle of nowhere), & the goths I do know don't really care much about lolita, so I have yet to encounter an ita at a goth night.

I saw one once.
Ass-length tutu skirt, pleather "crown" bag (not nice like IW's, tacky like it cost a score down the local market...), a corset, and Chun-Li hair.
Oh, and skate runners. SKATE runners.
