(no subject)
So the Joker costume worked out well. I got a lot of compliments and four people stopped me to take my picture. Only four people said, "Why so serious?" to me. I have yet to lose the makeup. I'll be doing that directly after posting. I've been wearing it since 7.30. The hair is itchy.
Alex's costume turned out well, but I could not get the squid costume to look right on Brutus (he looked like some funky flower-thing). So I remade it and stuck it to Alex's treat or treat bucket. Most of the old guys on our trick or treat route enjoyed it.
The only other annoyance was that I twisted my knee by stepping in a hole. It made a rather disgusting popping noise, but I figured, since I could walk on it, it must not be broken. It was sore, but we finished up our route and made it back to the van without incident. We went to Pizza Hut, which is our Halloween tradition, and when we got out, my knee was really hurting. When we got home, I took a look at it. It is pretty swollen. I put some Screaming Toast on it, and it feels a little better. We'll see what it looks like in the morning.
