Halloween Thoughts
I've been debating dressing up, and I finally decided that I would. From there, my original choices were zombie or vampire. Leigh decided to be a vampire, so I figured, I'd go ahead and do that too, but I couldn't really find what I wanted to wear, so I came up with two more choices: A Manson follwer or Heath Ledger's Joker.
The Manson follower would be super easy. I planned to put an x on my forehead and wear ratty jeans and an old t-shirt. I was going to write Helter Skelter on the front and put Manson's quote about scientology on the back...buck I figured that would be too offensive. The costume was also an in joke that only I would get, because everytime I saw Jeff last semester during his sabbatical, I wanted to ake him when he was going to carve the swatstika/cross/x-thingie in his forehead. (He really looked Manson-ish with his beard and wilde hair).
In the end, I decided that Ledger's Joker would be it. I have a Joker shirt I can wear, and I found a leftover can of green hairspray from last year. The make up is simple. I could be really offensive and claim to be a Heath Ledger Zombie. I also thought about putting an x on my fore and being a Joker/ Manson follower. We'll see what actually happens in the morning.
In other Halloween news, Alex wants wants to be Captain Nemo this year. The costume is coming together nicely, but I fear he may end up being confused with the Gorton's fisherman. Pictures tomorrow!
