Do I have to repost my rant about why it is really, really stupid to set up your LJ accounts to automatically post your Twitter shit every day?
Before I go through all the effort of going to find it again, allow me to summarize:
It's freaking stupid.
If someone wants to know what the fuck you have to say on Twitter, they will follow you on Twitter. Virtually none of your auto-posted tweets are relevant anymore by the time they are posted. A few of you almost never tweet anything except replies to other Twitter accounts.
If any of you have some reason you ABSOLUTELY MUST continue to do it, please take me off the freaking filter. I am so tired of seeing this spammy crap on my flist, I could scream. If you want me to see your Twitter shit, follow me ON TWITTER @Gethenian so I can follow you back and see it when it means anything. Otherwise, I am THIS goddamn close to defriending anyone who does that, or at least those of you who do it without an LJ cut. The number of you who do it is getting seriously ridiculous now.
Go ahead and explain to me why you think it's necessary if you want. But know that it pisses me the hell off and I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one who finds it annoying, just the only one with enough guts to say something about it instead of flittering around diplomatically and never getting a damn thing communicated.
