Hey everybody.
The diagnosis is in. I have recurrent Hodgkin's Disease, and it has metastasized into bone cancer. It is curable. I go in to the hospital tomorrow for four days for more tests and a portacath placement. Then I will have six chemotherapy treatments over 18 weeks, followed by a bone marrow transplant.
Please pray for my family through all this. I feel strong, but my parents are of course devastated, as are Shanda, and I am sure Jonathan, as soon as I get ahold of him. Not to mention the most important people, my children.
And, if you don't believe in God or in prayer, at least believe in me to be able to find strength and courage and comfort wherever I can.
I appreciate all of you so much.
