between the rooster crowing every 30 seconds, and the bagpipes that have been playing for an hour, it sure doesn't sound like i'm in tallahassee!

soo.....i turned in my final garments! and as usual i was thinking "oh, these aren't going to measure up, everyone's going to think they're ugly and my teachers are going to be disappointed", but as usual everything went fine! everyone thought my stuff was cute, and even Dr. Black said so! which is good, very good. that woman is crazy. she'll snap at you one second with a "what are you gonna do, sell that at Wal-Mart??" and the next she'll be joking around and smiling. you can't read her. and she's going to be my advanced design teacher in the fall. but at least she knows what she's doing. unfortunately i don't have pictures, my camera is being repaired :( my teacher took one for her portfolio, but i doubt she'll email it to me. all i've got is my spec sheets to bring home with me next week, and nobody wants to look at spec sheets. did i even mention what i was making? --- i made a kimono, raglan sleeved jacket with a stand up collar (in navy and chartreuse) and some pleated breeches with a fly front zipper and button extension on the bottom outseam (in teal and navy).

today starts my week of summer, and then it's back to classes. and boring ones at that. Family Owned Business, and German Phonetics. my focus is going to be working, i need $ for europe!

for now...i'm off to the gym, and then jo-ann's, i'd like to make a skirt this weekend. i need more skirts and dresses! i'll be coming home on monday, then heading back here in saturday. so i expect all of you fort walton beachers to fit me in your schedules!
