For the record, this post feels forced. Also overdue, so here we are.
Most of my energy lately is funneled to two endeavors: wrapping up the semester as well as I can, and ridding my life of vices (which ultimately boils down to self control) (i.e. biting my nails and junk food binges and vocal pauses and cussing). Maybe professing these things will increase accountability? Maybe?
I can't wait to move. I now share my house and home with ants and the smell of rotting carcass. I had mice that ate some poison and died in the walls (I think, since I can't hear them anymore), then I noticed ants for the first time ever--and they are near-rampant--and the smell. But what can I do? Tear the wall open? It's such a cool place, but man. There are so many things wrong with it. Woe.
After school, I'll have a week of intense work with Ely Falls, then summer school runs four weeks, then I go to D.C. for my VIP tours and free vacation. I can handle that.
