[Salyssa] so close...

Krennan Aranas. That's a name to look for. Of course, the spies report that he's curently being kept in Darnassus, vigilantly watched by many powerful members of the Alliance, so it's unlikely I'll ever so much as see him. If only we could get him to Undercity... he's evidently the one responsible, from the reports I'm getting single-handedly responsible, for giving the Gilneas worgen their minds back--the ones that survived his treatment, of course. I'm sure his notes will be as heavily guarded as he is, if not more so, but. It's something to daydream about as I toil at trying to unravel his work.

Also, there's an artifact--the Staff of Elune. It was thought to be a legend, or long-lost, or stolen by "dark riders;" but it has evidently turned up again. At least, a staff matching its description was deemed important enough to send an entire squad of Forsaken rangers into the heart of Gilneas in an attempt to retrieve it, and important enough to the Gilneans themselves to mount a massive suicidal counter-attack and wrest it back out of our grasp. Again, now that the Alliance has it and knows how badly we want it, it will surely be kept as securely as they can manage to make it. It's frustrating to know how close we came to having it. If it's capable of even a tenth of what the legends say, it would win Gilneas for us, and quite possibly ultimate control of the entire world Alliance.

As enjoyable as the work has been, the dead ends have become frustrating. Getting news of these two ridiculously valuable pieces, and all the information they could give us, slipping out of our grasp... I need a break. I'm feeling angry, and hungry. The Doctor disdains feeding on Scarlets, but I enjoy breaking their self-righteous shells. I'll check my mail before riding out to the Monastary. Perhaps I'll get some news that will cheer me up.

wtb krennan aranas pst, worgen, salyssa, science!, wtb staff of elune pst, fucking alliance, unlikely to improve her mood, stupid feeding, frustration
