[Salyssa] rambling
A relatively quiet night at the Kodo; it was pleasant to just sit and listen, to not feel obligated to pay particular attention to anything or respond. And to laugh. Why do I find the antics of trolls amusing, while those of gnomes annoying? Both races are completely insane. Perhaps it's because gnomes are supposed to be cute, while nobody pretends any such thing about trolls; they're big, bloodthirsty, dangerous semi-savages, and their insanity could turn violent at any moment. And I find that--amusing? Entirely possible, I suppose.
Tendaros... his suggestion was perfectly sensible, in my opinion, but of course there's no way that it would be adopted by the soft-hearted (and soft-headed) majority. It was a bit frustrating to hear the others from the Crimson Battleguard discussing his fitness for the unit after he'd expressed his plan. They accepted that Calaban creature, and they want to reject Tendaros because he has unpopular opinions? Bah.
I used the pills and helmet to sleep last night, just for a few hours. It was... quite nice. I remember dreaming, though I have no idea what about. I'll have to do that more often. I've been taking lessons in alchemy, and chagrined at how much of the basics I've forgotten. The Doctor is on one of his abrupt "vacations" again. As always when he's gone, I miss talking to him. I really should go back to Dalaran and finish taking my exams; so close to entering the top rank, and yet I find that I simply don't care. It'll happen sooner or later. Although I have been reminded that there is one spell they can teach me now, which I have been quite curious about...
