I feel spectacular. The Doctor is back, my demon problem has been taken care of, I've gone through hopefully my last change of vitality, I have exciting new things to research... I hadn't realized how much my situation had been affecting my thinking; I'm more clear-headed than I have been in ages.
The Doctor has essentially released Squeaky on parole. He didn't tell me about it until after he'd done it, and I realized I hadn't told him that I'd told Thierry that he was dead. He may very well find his way to the Kodo or some other public gathering, and she may recognize him - and then she'll know I lied to her. I'm not looking forward to that. Lying to people is always a bad idea... an edited version of the truth is much safer. I suppose I'll deal with that if/when it happens.
As soon as I'm done with my mage training, I'm going to get out of that apartment in Dalaran. Not sure where I'll "live" after that; I have plenty of options, though the cozy little den in the Badlands is off the list for the time being. I suppose I don't have to settle on any one central location. Not that I have much left in the Dalaran apartment that I'll want to keep - the majority of important stuff is already stashed in other places. Since most of the clientele I'd established in Dalaran for my tailoring and enchanting services have found other suppliers while I was hiding, there's no reason to bother keeping an expensive shop or office there. The rent in Undercity is reasonable as always, and... well, it does feel like home. I'll look into the available spaces and get something set up.
