Children of Men is absolutely mind-blowing. I have not seen a movie as beautifully shot, as rich and convincing in detail and as overwhelming in quite some time. And I do watch a lot of movies. The mis-en-scene, the cinematography... it sucks you right into this England of 2027. Where all men are infertile and thus mankind faces extinction,

theatrical release date in the usa was december 29 though i do not know how widely it is being screened.
i strongly recommend it, as you may have noticed ;)
it also has brief dubstep soundbits floating through the air as our main character roams through inner city streets.
