Toothless is DOING PRETTY OKAY right now. He has a lot more stimulation in camp than I imagine he normally does in Berk; the weather is better, there are nicer spots to nap, more interesting people to bother... he seriously misses flying more and fighting, but he can live like this. Especially since "not flying much because we're stuck here and going over the same ground that many times is boring" is a more palatable justification for his lack of airtime than "not flying because I depend on Hiccup for every minute I'm in the air." :x (Hiccup is willing to help, but if they flew as much as Toothless really wanted they'd basically do very little else.)
Having human friends who aren't Hiccup is still a new and mildly disconcerting thing for him! He can't quite get over the vague surprise when he thinks about it, even though he doesn't really think of them so much as friends as people to bother. He's still sort of prickly about it under the surface, but that's more just his personality than any discomfort with the idea at this point.
Right now his favorite pasttime is bothering Arthur. He knows he makes life kind of hard for Arthur by doing the pay attention to meeeee act on someone who's so anti-magic and stuff, but he's enough of an ass that he doesn't quite care enough to stop when it's so fun. Despite UNCOMFORTABLE FEELINGS!! :x
If they were one on one and not part of two opposing forces that Lien could use to cut him off strategically, Toothless! He's much more of a ridiculous Mary Sue than even the worst of the Temeraire dragons, because he's way faster and his fire makes things explode. Lien could down him if she hit him head on with the divine wind, but since Toothless specializes in stealth attacks/swooping in too fast to follow and Lien kind of sucks at fighting anyway while Toothless is a scrapper, he'd definitely have the advantage. :( TEMERAIRE DRAGONS ARE ALSO NOT FIREPROOF ON THE OUTSIDE which is bad for Lien in this case!

I will go into more detail. At Camp! She gets up in the morning, has breakfast, does some exercise of some sort, probably some cardiovascular and then she climbs the side of the hospital or something ridiculous for muscular exercise, then goes back to the Mess Hall to chill out and find someone to talk to. Boots on the table, cup of tea, etcetera.
More exercise later if she's bored, reading a book, shootin' some zombies for target practice, etc.
At home, it's more like: society parties, world travel, tomb robbing, fighting monsters, riding motorcycles, etc.

Ganymede and Dean surprised both me and Timmy. It is an epic sort-of-best-friendship/mostly platonic marriage that has lasted several temper tantrums, crocodiles, the apocalypse, and both of their personalities. YOU WOULD NOT THINK IT WOULD WORK BUT IT DID.
Also the Corinthian and Vincent back when AJ played the Corinthian were just delightfully awful.
I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD JUST COPY/PASTE LUFFY AND LIEN FOR THIS SORT OF QUESTION because seriously, who would have ever seen that coming! Honestly most of my CR is entirely accidental, or only intentional in the sense of I LIKE THAT CHARACTER AND WANT TO PLAY WITH THEM derp. I'm loving Sera and Kazuki right now though because they're cute and it's the first time I've been able to cross over a relationship from misty AU land to camp canon with any sort of success.

Three things Toothless would like to do with Hiccup.
There aren't many things that Toothless wants to do with Hiccup that he doesn't immediately force Hiccup to do with him. Probably at the top of the list are things like GET IN MORE EPIC SKY BATTLES YEAHHH, make Hiccup take an art class so he can watch, and figure out a better way for the two of them to get lots of fish for Toothless.
The Doctor's top three favorite things about camp?
1. She doesn't like that people who aren't happy have to stay! 2. She's really unhappy that people who WANT to stay for longer have to go! 3. The way camp doesn't just dick people around but can also actively hurt and fuck them up is noooot cool.
UH. So in Chrome-Shelled Regios the WORLD ENDED. Sort of. The planet is completely barren, but some humans survived and they made moving cities, powered by ~fairies~, to prowl about the landscape. Through what happened to the planet, filth monsters - gigantic horrible morphing beasts - mutated into existence and attack cities wherever they can.
Certain people got the ability to fight back against these monsters! These people - Military Arts users they are called - protect the cities and also fight in tournaments against other cities for territory/resources/etc. OUR HERO (Layfon) was one of the ... I forget how many but I think ten ... strongest fighters of Grendan, which was the strongest city. He got exiled! And ended up at Zuellni, which is an academy city. Think like a university campus except it's moving around. Zuellni is at the bottom of the food chain in comparison to Grendan. It isn't strong or well protected.
Basically, through a story of ... emotional manipulation and Layfon failing at dealing well with women, Layfon ends up being Zuellni's defender. He fights filth monsters to save the city and then there's a goat and it gets a bit convoluted and people's boners get them killed and -
It's really fun and I may watch it again now. :'D
What are three reasons why I should read Temerairerere?
1. ADORABLE CHARACTERS no seriously, almost every character is endearing in some way, it's KIND OF CRAZY.
2. An actually serious, thoughtful consideration of how world events would change if an earlier part of history was capable of air battle, and how different societies would be changed. Startlingly few issues with racefail and culturefail considering that the POV character is a Napoleonic era British guy.
3. Our author wrote a short crossover fic where her title character had to compete in American Idol once.
