YEAH SO I have nearly done 1k with newnewnew Doctor, which is quite nippy for Slow Sian in any related form of new character, and other characters are meandering up a bit, and Ganymede is about to hit [redacted for my personal embarrassment about character balance]k and THUS:

anyway. The Ganymede/Apollo relationship meme, or: STOP RUINING OUR DELICATE TRUCE, YOU GODLY ASSHOLE. I'm not going all the way back to the beginning because I covered this stuff in previous raylaylayship memes, so. We'll go from the canon update. Ganymede really thought things were set from there! As I said to Mithos up above, he is a coper. He wasn't completely satisfied, but Ganymede lives in a world where he is never completely satisfied. He hasn't been since he left home. He isn't looking to be happy, just better than he was, and he and Apollo were slowly working their way towards that. Together, so Ganymede thought! Things were BETTER. They came to a sort of delicate truce, the beginnings of being almost friends despite all their history, and Ganymede genuinely decided to stay with Apollo until Apollo didn't want him around anymore. OTHER VARIED THINGS:
-Hanging out with Winchesters doesn't help. Dean completely doesn't comprehend why Ganymede still cares about Apollo, and while Sam gets it better both Winchesters are so much about the other brother that it reminds Ganymede of his brother. Who Apollo killed. Who being kind to Apollo is kind of betraying the memory of.
-Ganymede is so sad right now about this I don't even. Even when Apollo was hateful, at least he was around. He's looking at this awful future where he dies alone and he just hates it. It's effecting a lot of the things he does.
-I THINK WE CAN FIX THIS!?! I HOPE!?!
