Week Eleven: There's Always Tomorrow

"There's ALWAYS Tomorrow"

This notion: "There's always tomorrow" is something I seem to take for granted. Everytime I procrastinate, everytime there's something I know that I need to do, I always seem to find myself saying "Don't Worry! I'll do it tomorrow!" And as I go to bed everynight, there's this continuous notion in my head telling me that I have tomorrow. That I have tomorrow to do my homework and/or assessments, that I have tomorrow to go out, that I have tomorrow to tell someone something, that I have tomorrow to fix up my problems ... and most of all ... the thought that I have tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that to do what I need to do.

But what if there is no tomorrow? They say 'life is short', and that you should make the most out of everyday; to smile and have no regrets. Sometimes that's really hard to do. Life sometimes causes you to make an unexpected U-turn, totally changing the path that your on - sometimes for the best, other times foe the worst. Saying this, I know from experience that most of the time life can surprise you in the most unexpected way. And when it does, its up to us to make the right choices and to do what's best with what life throws at us.

On the side note, there's ONE more week left of uni for the semester! Time has gone by so quickly, that it feels like it was only yesterday that I first stepped foot on ACU grounds and began my first day of university life. Its been a truly remarkable experience and I'm hoping next semester will be just as awesome! Oh, and I'm looking forward to presenting my group's drama performance next week! I am so grateful we didn't have to do it this week because I've literally been swamped with assessments and I probably wouldn't have been prepared! I hope alot of you literature students will be attending the lecture and will watch the remaining performances! And I must also comment on how AWESOME and SPECTACULAR the drama performances were this week! There are so many talented people at the university, and I feel very privileged to have been able to witness this large amount of talent. Good luck for the other groups performing next week, but til then, I hope you're all practicing hard!
