this post reminds me of that Madonna song that was out a few years ago, "what it feels like for a girl" or something like that.

I'm a naturally blond, blue eyed, curvy girl (uhh..i'm not trying to brag about this here) and there are times when I would give anything to not look this way because I have a hard time with people taking me seriously. Yes, I could dye my hair, etc, but...this is me..this is how I was born and ended up looking like...and when it comes down to it, I like it. I shouldn't be punished for it and neither should anyone else.

I'm like you, worried about getting a job just because I am a woman. Bitch, please, I'm smart, capable, and drive a Jimmy. I will shove my high heeled foot up anyone's ass...anytime of the month.

Yeah, the thing about the job situation is, I displayed dissatisfaction with it to my mother and two of my male friends and they all looked at me funny and said "well .. milk it!" But that's just not how it works. If I'm going to get shat upon one day and praised the next for being a woman .. forget it. Take both away. But that seems so difficult for anyone else to understand!

But it's good to know someone else gets the same feeling sometimes =)
