14 Days to xmas
Wow, time has flown since my last entry. so a bit of an update i suppose.... went out friday with some co-workers for a much needed time out and good times. Met some new ppl and clicked with others. It was a good feeling. Also met up with some other guys I hadn't spoken to in some time and caught up. Found out I was so far out of the loop that I felt like i was on pluto and then put on an express shuttle for earth. I just relaxed and had a good time.
Saturday wasn't so good. think i caught a touch of the flu.. i know you're thinking "sure ken, it was the alcohol really!".. well no. not like that it wasn't.. let's just say i didnt want to stray to far from a washroom and let your imagination take it from there.... on to the next topic for those with overactive imaginations resulting in squeemish stomachs...
Xmas is only 14 days away and I only have 2 more presents left to get, of course i have to wait for the remaining ones that i ordered to arrive by post... my xmas baking is coming along nicely - finished a batch of shortbread cookies tonight. just have some caramel covered popcorn to do then voila! I just have to wrap all the gifts - that's the fun part.
went down to my mom's today to get the presents she wants me to take out to my sister's. had lunch and finally won a game of crib - awesome!!! Kayla was happy for the highway drive as it's been awhile and had a chance to listen to a new mix cd i put together. Wasn't happy on the way back, got my 1st rock chip on deerfoot trail. stupid rocks! at least it's not a start shaped chip, so it won't spread.
