Some brain ramblings
my new 2006 VW finally has been christened - her name is Kayla. took me long enough - after nearly 20,000 km, i finally came across a name that suited her.
my sis has invited me out to Nanaimo for Christmas, so will go out that way for about a week. it'll be an awesome time. will give me a chance to see some other friends and some other family down near Lake Cowichan who i haven't seen for quite some time. i'm quite looking forward to the time off work too.
most of my christmas shopping is done, just waiting for some packages to arrive by mail and then have to get some pictures printed off and purchase some frames, and a few gifts for my sis and her husband. then it's just the wrapping and stuff that i need to get done.
work is picking up again and i am going contract in the new year. that'll be interesting. i am hoping it will give me the opportunity to diversify in what i want to do, or at least experiment a bit with different jobs. just need a company name then i can get the paperwork all started. then need to find an accountant who will do the books for me - may have already found one. and i need to find another accountant so i can get some questions answered regarding personal income taxes.
anyway, i am about to swallow my monitor with all the yawning i'm doing so that's a sign to sign off and get my ass into bed.
