Lookin' good

I'm 33!

The Anchor was fully-booked for tomorrow evening, but I got a table at the Red House in Longstowe instead. There will be 11 people, which is pretty much the right number for this kind of event - should be good.

The mainboard that wouldn't work with OpenBSD3.2 is now singing sweetly under OpenBSD3.4 . The replacement USB hard drive enclosure has formatted OK when attached to it, and is accepting data. The combination of OpenBSD3.4 and the mainboard Intel EtherExpress is working right, so no need for a PCI NIC. (For a time, motherboard NICs on Intel 845 boards barfed spectacularly with Linux or OpenBSD kernels after about 4 or 5 megabytes of data throughput. No more, it seems.)

And, to cap it all, I feel a patent coming on. (-8
