there were ducks. ducks were adorable
See title. But yes, I'm currently posting from Hampton Inn & Suites, Riverside, California. It's a really nice room for $65/night. Two queen-sized beds (I'm staying with my research collaborator/lecturer.. ish), a coffee-maker, nice and spacious room, all the bare necessities and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Just outside the hotel, there is this river, and in the river, there were ducks.
Those ducks are fearless. One just waddled right up the pavement, stared at us and then waddled back to the river slowly, like it's not afraid of being caught and cooked (... I love roast ducks. But I love ducks as pets too. Once my family bought a few ducklings and they were the cutest ever. And then they grew up and we ate them). Didn't take many pictures. I only have my camera-phone.
Now, I kinda wish I brought a camera.
Bleh, I wish I can stay longer. =/ See all the things. Eat all the things. Gonna try US's Carl's Jr tonight. \o\
