I have an assignment to do so I'm doing what all good students do: PROCRASTINATE.

Anyway, I'm currently watching Nodame Cantabile jdrama. Late to the boat as always. swt. It's a really fun series though, and Chiaki making faces is always funny to watch. xD .. Chiaki remembering his traumatic past is also pretty amusing.
Learnt how to play poker that day in Erin's house. Now, I feel obligated to write it. >.> *pokes at assignment* The snapshot viewer thing that pops out when the mouse pointer hovers over a link is really annoying. I disabled it in my comp but I forgot how to do it on my laptop. AUGH. Don't feel like digging through the LJ help today though. Maybe tomorrow.
Recently, I finished reading a book too. Helen Oyeyemi's The Icarus Girl. Tale of belonging and supernatural cultural thing about dead twins and imaginary(well, not really) friend(also, not really). Kinda interesting. The style of writing is kinda annoying at times but I finished it in one go. Perhaps it's not that annoying after all. Just reeks of slight amateurishness for some reason (I can't put my finger on what exactly rubbed me wrong). I like the premise: lonely and displaced little girl finds a magical friend.. who later turns out to be not as nice after all. Gets a little creepy halfway in the story. xD Need to go finish my other books now.
