(no subject)
I finished s3 of Doctor Who and all of Torchwood so far and refuse to think that Jack Harkness is gonna be... yeah. =/ NO WAY. I'm really looking forward to the next season of Torchwood though~ Martha will be the most stable person there and I won't be watching it just for the Captain for at least three eps~ Team Torchwood under Jack is not really endearing. ._. Ianto does not have enough personality, Owen's just.. augh, and Gwen's annoying. Toshiko is too normal (thus does not stand out, 'cept in that Alien/Toshiko ep). As for Doctor Who, I REALLY look forward to Doctor-smackdown by Donna! xDD The Doctor needs it sometimes...
Anyway, the issue with home is kinda resolved by Not Talking about it, which is something we excel in. I have no doubt it will be brought out the next time something happens though. I think the biggest issue with my family (+extended) is communication issues. Coupled with monetary issue, things can get rather tense over petty little things (which I think is stupid and everyone needs a good shot of strong alcoholic something and talk everything out and maybe throw a punch or two like shounen retards. Not gonna solve my parent's issue though =/)
Oh yeah, I had an Abyss dream last night~ It's been quite long since I remember a dream as clearly as this. ^^; In the dream, I was Luke and like the Luke in the game, not allowed out of the house. There was also a boarded doorway that I wasn't supposed to tear down (supposedly for my own good). Curiosity got the better of me and I pulled Guy along to break down the boards and released Cerberus that chased us around in that super big house. When we finally got out of the house and locked the door behind us, everyone in the world had apparently been replicated and Luke (this is when I kinda popped out and become a mere spectator. It's weird. ^^;) was blamed for it (... Asch kinda shouted it on rooftops). Townspeople said that releasing the Cerberus replicates people in the world and because of that, the world will END (somehow. I DON'T GET IT EITHER but it made perfect sense in dream-world) and to fix things, Luke and Guy must kill Cerberus.
Too bad grandma woke me and I never saw the end of the dream... I think this is the result of discussing about what kinda cells are the TotA people with ahpai last night.
also, this has nothing to do with LJ but I'm contemplating on starting another blog somewhere. LJ has become more of a place to communicate with ppl than a place to record my thoughts on stuff. Back when I still use my friendster blog, my entries there was always double of what I typed in LJ and I had felt more at ease with spilling my heart and soul and fannish ramblings. Strange, huh? It's probably because very little of my friendster friend-list would read my ramblings. ^^;
Have the funny of the day: Link to Mock The Stupid: A New Zealand couple is looking to call their newborn son Superman -- but only because their chosen name of 4Real has been rejected by the government registry."
