New Job :-D
Okay, so i'm ready to post again lol. Anyways To tell this story, I have to go back a couple days.
Weds
A friend of mine (david) told me about the staffing agency that he went thru to get this killer job he has. I decided that i needed a new job, so i contacted them. The Lady (Becky) at the agency sent me a couple tests to do testing my knowledge of computers and office skills and typing skills. I had an interview the next day.
Thursday -
Had the interview and went over my resume, Becky was VERY impressed with my scores on the tests (apparently i know my computer stuff... who knew??) And she had this job in mind for me to interview. she couldn't really say much about the company, gave me a brief description about the job, and asked me to send her an revised resume (with revisions from her to make it better) and asked for some professional refrences that i had collected the day before.
Friday -
Got a call from becky saying they were interested and that an interview would be set up. She then gave me all the information, the company btw is imaging office systems, www.imagingoffice.com for those of you that are interested :-P anyways i would be post production assistant supervisor. The lady that is doing the hiring currently supervises two areas, the post production part is the part that she needs help with. I would basically take it over from her, she would give me direction and tell me what to look for, but i would be doing the direction and such for the department hehe :-D btw its a document imaging company, wich sounds boring, but i don't think so, its working with computers to image paper documents and make it easier for the clients to search thru there data.
Monday -
Today was the interview, i didn't think it went well, but apparently Helen (the lady that interviewed me) was really impressed and told my temp agency that i needed to talk to Jeff Keck (the director of the department) and that she was thinking of having me start on monday. I find out when i'm seeing Jeff sometime today or tomorrow ( we hope) so I am really hoping i get to start monday, that would be INSANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways i'll be able to keep this up more often if i get this job, cause i'll just be working monday thru friday 8:30 to 4:30
